SurePay wins at the British Bank Awards and PayTech Awards

In its seventh year running, the British Bank Awards puts customers at the heart of the industry and looks to find the best products, hottest innovations and most trusted financial brands and partners. Having become the most widely reported banking awards in the UK, the British Bank Awards are widely thought of as the Oscars of the banking world.

SurePay has won the “Technology Partner of the Year” at the awards on Thursday, 8 July for its Confirmation of Payee solution launched in the UK in 2020. 

On the same day, SurePay also won the “Editor’s Choice Award” at PayTech Awards, ran by FinTech Futures, the definitive source of news and analysis of the global fintech sector. In their fourth year, PayTech Awards are recognising excellence and innovation in the use of IT in the finance and payment industry worldwide, and the people who make it happen.

This service is already checking 30 percent of UK online payments. NatWest Group and SurePay have contributed together to HMRC with the CoP solution to make sure that Covid-19 payments are delivered safely, at scale and to the right people.
